Why Should You Own A Bible Case?

I think just about everyone should own a bible case in order...

1. To protect your bible. I consider a Bible an investment. Not a monetary investment but an Eternal investment. Depending on the type of Bible you own it could also be a good financial investment as well. A bible case will also protect your bible from the environment around you.

    A. Dust can damage the art gilding around the edges and it could dull the cover.

   B. Protects it from liquid spills and food particles.

2. If your bible has shelf damage such as the head is pulling apart or your cover is doing the same, a good bible cover will protect it for several years until you can get it rebound.

3. A good bible cover will extend the life of a new bible. Plus using an organizing cover like this one saves you time when it comes to Bible study. You won't have to look for a note pad and writing materials. Just grab your bible study material and your ready to go.

As you can see from the image there really isn't much wear on the cover. It still looks pristine and shiny. Forgive my bible ribbons hanging out of the case when I took the photo I had just finished studying.

This particular cover is the X-Large cover which I link to above. Now before you purchase any cover for your bible you will need to do some measuring for a proper fit. For the next task you will need a measure tape, pencil or pen and a notebook.

Four Steps To Measure Your Bible

  1. Width: First you want measure your bibles closed width and write that down.
  2. Length: Next you need to measure your bibles closed length. write that down.
  3. Open Width: Many people forget to measure the open width of there bible. It is just a hard fact. Without this measurement you may order a cover that is not wide enough for your particular bible. Write this measurement down.
  4. Thickness: Thickness is important too. The reason for this measurement is for the zipper. If the cover is not thick enough for your bible you won't be able to close the cover.

Inside the Covers

This case comes with the note pad and four handy pen or in this case crayola slots and two card slots. I use a defective credit card in order to make perfect lines for underling important text.

As you can see in the next image there is a nice pouch behind the pen holder.

All in all this cover has been a blessing to me. My Bible has some bad avoidable wear and the cover protects it from getting worse.
It also has been very handy for bible studying. I highly recommend this cover to anyone.
