Welcome to sonsigns Bible and book review site. I am really exited that you stop by and understand that you want to know a little more about the author of this blog. My name is William (Bobby) Cato. I am a Christian blogger and love to read and write. I have combined these three skills (Blogging, reading, & writing) together in order to review bible and books. I love using the written word and I also don't like the fact of leaving anyone out that has a hearing handicap such as deafness. This blogger is deaf in my right ear and hard of hearing in my left, so I completely understand this kind of handicap. Along with my video's I am also writing out my review hopefully in an entertaining way.  

That is what this site is all about.

I am very blessed to be married to my wonderful wife Helen Shelton Cato, for 36 years as of March 2 2021. We have two awesome adult children and one grand baby girl Kinsley Grace Fleming.

I was born September 7, 1966 and born again October 15, 1986 during a revival at a small backwoods Baptist church in Brumley, Missouri. The evangelist was Pastor Mike Parish, and he preached trhough the book of Revelations.

Trust & Obey

  What does it mean to Trust & Obey? I like to think of faith as trust and obey, aside from the usual answer that you will get from the book of Hebrews 1:1   Now faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen. Which is the definition of faith? I don't know if your Church uses hymnals or not but there is a simple song titled "Trust & Obey" that expresses something very fundamental about Faith. The chorus goes like this: Trust and Obey, for there's no other way To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. Disciple's Study Bible

Holman's Disciple Study Bible Looking for one of the best Baptist study bible that you will enjoy and get many years of use from,  then you came to the right place. This is a review of the Holman disciple study bible by Holman publishers published in 1984. This is the old school study bible, not to be confused with the new Disciples study bible that was published On November 15th 2017, using the Christian standard version (CSB.) This is not that bible. This is a whole lot better. I actually ran across a few of the old  '84 New International Versions in Hardback below...
