  What does it mean to Trust & Obey? I like to think of faith as trust and obey, aside from the usual answer that you will get from the book of Hebrews 1:1   Now faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen. Which is the definition of faith? I don't know if your Church uses hymnals or not but there is a simple song titled "Trust & Obey" that expresses something very fundamental about Faith. The chorus goes like this: Trust and Obey, for there's no other way To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.   Is the NASB 2020 edition any good? The NASB edition is a word for word translation of the Greek and Hebrew text based on Rudolf Kittel's Biblia Hebraica Dead Sea Scrolls for the Old Testament and Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece for the New Testament.   Books- what are your favorite?   I love books. I don't remember what age I was when I began reading consistently. If I were to guess I might have been around 8 or 9 years old. Books took me on an adventure when I was young. I went into deep space with Isaac Asimov, through his "foundations" series. Solved mysteries with Frank and Joe Hardy, and even went on a few lazy adventures through the Ozarks, on the Missouri and Mississippi River with Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. As a teen, I followed Stephen King and his alias "Richard Bachman". I mostly enjoyed his short stories. As time goes on, I have found that my taste in books has also changed. Now I enjoy Good Bible based teachings, from a multitude of christian non-fiction writers and preachers of righteousness.
