Realities of a true Christian

Realities of a true Christian when I first heard about this book on sermon index.net, the title "realities of a true Christian" intrigue me. My mind began pondering on what experiences I have had with Christ over the last 26 years. But that isn't "reality".

Realities of a true Christian, would be different in most respects, for each individual person, even if they are your spouse. The reason for this is everyone has their own perspectives on their Christian walk. We each see our realities, through the windows of our soul differently, or " through a glass, darkly" 1 Corinthians 13:12.

Realities of a true Christian, I found was very well written, drawing me into each subject of the chapters quickly, and almost forcing me search deeply into my soul and examine myself in light of the Gospel and eternity.

One thing I didn't like was the footnotes at the end of each page. This slowed my reading down as I didn't want to miss any part of Jeremy's thought process.

The footer was littered with scriptures that no doubt inspired each chapter, dictionary terms, and some pages had really good after thoughts about the chapter by the author. All of this could have been organized in an appendix, perhaps, by chapter. Jeremy could have even created a helpful study guide at the end of the book for use as journal to help the reader write in their own thoughts about each chapter.

This is just a hint Jeremy :)

Closing Thoughts on Realities of a true Christian

Over all, I would recommend, this book to any serious Christian. Realities of a true Christian, is very convicting at times and an excellent read. Jeremy Strang, has written this book, in the spirit of A.W. Tozer or Leonard Ravenhill.

Realities Of A True Christian is a very powerful book for our time. A must read for every Christian.

I can't wait for the hard copy to come out, I will gladly add it to my Library.

Thanks Jeremy for Realities of a True Christian
